ADAM COCHRAN:

Adam Cochran is a graduate of NYU, Tisch School of the Arts, having completed both the Collaborative Arts Project 21 and Playwrights Horizons studio training with a BFA in Theater and a minor in Producing. As an actor, Adam has appeared in a number of NYU productions, including Peter, Cabaret on Strike, The Ballad of Thimblebear, I'll See You Tomorrow, Sideshow, Flashlights & Knives, Polaroid Stories, Hedwig & The Angry Inch, Suicycle, Starmites, Floyd Collins and as Berger in the mainstage production of Hair in collaboration with director Rubén Polendo. Adam has also worked with Polendo and his company Mitu on The Apostle Project, Canticle, Blind Mouth Singing, Mitu's Fall Benefit Concert and a number of readings and workshops.

He has participated in four Fringe Festivals in Edinburgh, with and without One Night Stand, including a leading turn in Watson, which garnered a four-star review from The Scotsman. In addition to acting and improvising (which he's been doing since his sophomore year of high school), he's written two award-winning one-act rock musicals, produced a total of seven times in Los Angeles, Edinburgh and Florida, completed a full-length non-musical called Tattoöhead and is working on his first full-length musical. In 2005, he released a CD of original rock songs called Into the Fire (available on iTunes) and is recording his second effort, called Sea Monster.
